Field Repair Specialists
This role is responsible for providing provides same-day surgical instrument repair service to hospital accounts. This person will handle sharpening, realigning, polishing/buffing, lubricating, replacing broken parts for stainless steel surgical instruments.
To qualify for this position with great earnings potential, you must have strong customer service skills, be a self-starter, independent, dependable, and have a strong results orientation. Small tool dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination is required. Specific instrumentation training will be provided. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; and experience as a machinist, central sterile dept. tech, or a surgical tech is a strong plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is necessary. Specific instrumentation training in the classroom and field training will be provided and continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of an 8-10 week training program. Travel is required throughout the United States during the training period.
