The front-end of a pharmacy is often overlooked, but rich with opportunity. Cardinal Health realizes the profitable sales that a pharmacy can generate in the front of store and has developed an offering that closes the loop in your front-end product management.

Cardinal Health provides all of the products a store needs for their front-end including candy, dollar items and everyday/seasonal merchandise. As a retail independent pharmacist, it is essential to offer a variety of non-Rx products to encourage impulse buying at your store and provide customers an opportunity to shop while filling prescriptions.

Value Store (dollar items)
The Value Store is a way for you to differentiate your store. We stock more than 300 of the fastest-moving "dollar" items, giving independent pharmacies an easy way to create traffic throughout their front-end. A wide variety of planograms and signage are available to further enhance the Value Store presence in your pharmacy.

Everyday and seasonal
Cardinal Health has partnered with L&R Distributors to meet the needs of retail independent pharmacies for everyday and seasonal items. By partnering with L&R Distributors, our customers have access to more than 26,000 items. To continue strengthening our commitment to retail independent pharmacies, Leader® members are eligible for a 2% quarterly rebate.

Candy
Cardinal Health has also partnered with Vistar, a drop-ship supplier, as the preferred vendor for candy. The broad assortment includes more than 75 SKUs of the top-selling brands.
