Cardinal Health has partnered with ECRS for a solution that will optimize the output of a pharmacy's front-end without adding resources. This solution ensures every prescription leaving a pharmacy has been tracked and provides proactive tools to retain and grow customer relationships.
Point-of-Sale (POS) empowers an independent pharmacy with the technology required to drive efficiencies that were previously only available to national retail pharmacies. POS will streamline pharmacy operations with inventory tracking, a simple ordering process and front-end efficiency functions.
The POS system features proactive inventory management. It will increase inventory turns by monitoring sales per product category and provides item-level profit analysis. It eliminates stock outages and accounts for seasonal trends.
POS has an auto-replenish feature, based on actual item movement, to help reduce your out-of-stocks. With electronic order updates and confirmations, it will become easier for your staff to manage inventory and pricing updates.
The POS system also provides retail price and margin maintenance. This includes electronic catalog price updates and automatic monthly price updates for the Leader
® Promotions program. Additionally, the system will notify the customer when changes in OTC costs affect margins.
