CIM helps increase profitability by generating auto replenishment orders aligned with pharmacy transactions and business objectives. CIM refines replenishment and gives you consistent automated ordering activity with minimal manual intervention.
A pharmacy can review the daily CIM generated order upon demand at their convenience. Dynamic order points are updated daily at the item level to account for demand and seasonal changes. With CIM, you can set preferred item selection accounts for item group, contract preference, item velocity, cost spread and item availability.
CIM streamlines perpetual inventory and helps maintain accurate on-hand values at the item and group levels. Real-time dispensing data along with Cardinal Health invoices and return credits automatically update on-hand values through CIM. CIM will not "break" when untrained staff is working in the pharmacy. A quick adjust feature simplifies exceptions like outdates or waste.
