With more than 150 employees dedicated to advancing the cause of nuclear medicine, we work at a local and national level to advocate on issues applicable to the entire industry while addressing the issues and concerns you face on a daily basis.
In addition to our support of industry groups such as the Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM) and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC), we are actively engaged and often lead committees within trade organizations such as the Medical Imaging Technology Alliance (MITA) and the Council on Radionuclides and Radiopharmaceuticals (CORAR).
Through active participation, education, Cardinal Health Foundation support and fundraising efforts, we are pleased to list the Alzheimer's Association and the American Heart Association among our key patient advocacy groups.
Goals within our advocacy efforts include:
- Educating key stakeholders
- Advocating for fair reimbursement
- Improving and expediting coverage
- Supporting efforts for a more secure domestic supply chain
- Growing appropriate use of molecular imaging
