A•E•R® Witch Hazel Wipes

(Birchwood Laboratories) These wipes are a safe, simple and economical option to provide relief from anoperineal pain and itching. Used as a cooling local compress and after-stool wipe, they sooth irritated tissues and relieve discomfort associated with hemorrhoids; rectal and vaginal itching; and anorectal, obstetrical and gynecological procedures. They are also useful for maintaining proper anoperineal hygiene and stomal care and for infant cleanup. Made of a soft, nonwoven material, the wipes are saturated with 50% witch hazel plus 12.5% nongreasy glycerin. They are also buffered to acid pH and ready for instant use. Wipes are available as 3 1/4”-diameter pads in safety-sealed stackable, resealable tubs or as 5” x 5” towelettes individually sealed in a foil pouch.
