(Spectrum Laboratories) In contrast to typical cellulosic membranes, this 500,000 MWCO polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) membrane is hydrophobic and resistant to a wide variety of organic solvents as well as most aqueous acids and bases. The membrane can be heat sealed and autoclaved without affecting the Molecular Weight Cut Off (MWCO) or changing the membrane performance. Packaged in 0.1% sodium azide preservative.
