CareFusion^® Transfusion Verification from Cardinal Health is an advanced, bar code-enabled wireless application that helps hospitals significantly reduce the potential for errors during the blood transfusion process by promoting positive patient identification (PPID) and positive blood product identification at the point of care.

This PPID application fully automates the transfusion documentation process and maximizes communication between pertinent personnel. Intuitive and easy to use, CareFusion^® Transfusion Verification complements and streamlines existing workflow processes, including those in OR and Emergent Care areas.
