Annually, the Supplier Diversity team recognizes employees that have demonstrated Cardinal Health’s EPPIC core values in their commitment to the company initiatives around small business development and diversity within our supplier base, as part of their business interactions and supplier evaluations.

Supplier Diversity across Cardinal Health is key to our GPO relationships, federal contracting opportunities, and corporate image.  This recognition is passionately referred to as the “Rising Star” award, because the previous and current recipient continue to rise up from various groups across the corporation, with contributions that enable the small business development and supplier diversity objectives. This year’s awardees were responsible for driving over $2 billion in expenditures with small businesses across Cardinal Health for our Fiscal Year 2006. The following individuals were awarded and rewarded for their hard work in the area of Supplier Diversity.
