Shelley Bird Executive Vice President Public Affairs

Shelley Bird is executive vice president of Public Affairs for Cardinal Health, where she is responsible for public relations, employee communication, global branding, Internet/Intranet marketing communication and government relations. Prior to joining Cardinal Health in 2006, Bird was chief communications officer for NCR Corporation, based in the U.S., and vice president of marketing communications and public relations for Philips Consumer Communications, based in the U.S. and France. She also gained valuable international experience through senior communication roles with Motorola and Hill and Knowlton across the Asia Pacific region. Bird serves as vice chair for the International Association of Business Communicators and is the chair of the board of directors for the Cardinal Health Foundation. Bird earned her master’s degree in communication management and a doctorate in communication from the University of South Australia.
