- Retailing Roadmap

Rx Products and Services
- Preferred SOURCE is a single-source generic contract
portfolio exclusively for Leader® members that increases profitability through
program consistency, serviceability, contract products and competitive pricing.
This comprehensive program is managed to the industry's highest standards
by a team of experts and consists of approximately 2,200 generic pharmaceutical
items that comprise 95 percent of the average retail pharmacy's product
needs.
- RxAdvantage is a market share incentive program
that increases
profitability on select branded pharmaceutical items from leading
manufacturers. Quarterly programs normally include more than 250
high-quality, fast-moving branded products.
- First Script is an automatic shipment program that allows pharmacists
to have immediate access to newly released brand name and generic
pharmaceutical products. First Script also increases profitability through
off-invoice discounts and extended dating. As soon as the FDA approves
the product and it is received in the Cardinal Health distribution centers,
it is shipped to First Script customers.
