Our Performance Management program features:

Key capabilities

Opportunity assessment

Our program features a repeatable, quantitative approach for measuring supply chain optimization opportunity when evaluating organizations for program engagement. The initial assessment draws upon a number of various financial and industry resources such as financial statements, industry databases and independent credit reports. The analysis is rooted in audited annual financial statements and industry benchmarking standards from acute care facilities across the country.

Our process recognizes and takes into consideration that each hospital is unique and uses various factors such as patient acuity, acute care beds, surgical cases, operating rooms, supply expense and operating expense to determine the potential supply chain optimization opportunity.

Program management

Our program management capabilities include project chartering, management and coordination of all supply chain optimization initiatives with clear communication of program status and progression. Our team regularly conducts clinical and supply chain staff satisfaction surveys which are vital in documenting the change impact our people and process improvement projects have within the hospital. Periodic reviews (quarterly or monthly) of overall plan, progress and status, as well as reviews of reorder patterns and other issues are given throughout the life of the initiative. Participants include key stakeholders throughout the hospital supply chain—such as nurse managers, clinic administrators and surgical area leaders.

Operational excellence

Utilizing our Lean Six Sigma capabilities, we show the breakdown analysis of areas of gain resulting from change and optimization initiatives with a clear process for tracking gain realization.

Performance measurement

Measurement is critical to ensure commitments are met and progress is being made. The performance measurement map provides proper perspective to the health of the supply chain and the institution it supports. The solution features concise reporting and tracking around key measurements such as supply expense, inventory and non-clinical labor performance at the department or cost center level.
