A performance management tool that leverages data from your existing information systems (LIS, purchasing, payroll, etc.) to calculate the true cost of performing tests/panels and delivering services.
Simply download inputs from your MMIS and/or IT systems and the tool will provide automated analytics to help you identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement. For example, you can identify the five most and five least profitable tests/panels calculated based upon reimbursement versus cost per test.
Marrying profitability information with volume information enables you to identify:
- Tests for which you may want to increase volumes due to profitability
- Tests that are slightly unprofitable that could be good candidates for process improvement assessment to make them more profitable
- Tests that are extremely unprofitable and low volume that you may want to consider outsourcing
You can also run simulations of potential changes in volumes and resources to determine the change effort associated with the benefit, and/or monitor ROI and performance of capital assets.
