How do we do it?
The combination of these three bonded layers provides a glove with superior performance and comfort. In addition, our advanced post-forming technology produces gloves with an exceptional grip, outstanding tactile properties and enhanced comfort.

Exceeding the standard
With this unique integration of natural rubber latex and nitrile, the Protegrity® family of gloves provides unparalleled strength and durability. The gloves meet or exceed the ASTM s standard specification for rubber surgical gloves in strength and elongation.

Three layers of protection
The outer layer of natural rubber latex provides a soft feel, good elasticity and high tensile strength. The middle layer is a specially formulated blend of synthetic nitrile and natural rubber latex to bond the inner and outer layers and maintain integrity of performance. The inner layer closest to your hand is synthetic (non-latex) nitrile for effortless donning as well as outstanding durability.

Protegrity®

Protegrity® powder-free latex surgical gloves are created with advanced triple-dip bonding technology that integrates the comfort of natural rubber latex with the strength of nitrile. The result is a glove with an exceptional grip, outstanding tactile properties and enhanced comfort.

Protegrity® SMT

Surface modification technology or SMT is a new post-finishing step in the glove manufacturing process. With Protegrity® SMT gloves, we've integrated our unique triple-bonding process and a glare-reducing brown tint with our proprietary SMT finish to deliver a glove that feels more like the bare hand than ever before. And SMT is only available from Cardinal Health.

Our Protegrity® micro SMT gloves are designed for procedures requiring total precision. These gloves are created with the same Protegrity® triple-bonding process and SMT finish, but they have a lighter touch for precise tactile sensitivity.
