Did you ever think that your everyday surgical gown could look this fashionable? Well at this year's 54th AORN congress Cardinal Health Convertors® did just that.merged today's hip fashions with function using materials most commonly found in the surgical gowns you have come trust. Convertors® Astound (AAMI Level 3) and SmartGown (AAMI Level 4) materials were used to create six non-traditional surgical gowns. Surgical Drapes:
Cardinal Health offers a complete line of surgical drapes in two key fabrics: Optima® and Tiburon®.
Optima®: Our Optima® fabric is made from a spunlace material.
Tiburon®: Our Tiburon® line of drapes have the added benefit of being absorbent and impervious throughout the entire drape providing the highest level of protection available in the market.
Surgical Gowns:

Astound®: Our Astound® surgical gowns are made with an extremely lightweight SMS fabric that offers outstanding barrier protection. As with our Optima® line, we offer standard, fabric-reinforced and impervious-reinforced options.
SmartGown™: Our SmartGown™ surgical gown offers the highest level of protection (AAMI Level 4) for the most demanding procedures. SmartGown™ is a breathable, impervious gown made with a responsive membrane that reacts to changing temperatures. The end-result is that this gown helps the wearer stay cool and comfortable during long and intense procedures.
