Cardinal Health Receives SEC Information Request
DUBLIN, Ohio, October 9, 2003 Cardinal Health, Inc. (NYSE: CAH) announced today
that it has received a request for information from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with an informal inquiry. The request seeks historical financial and related information, including information pertaining to the accounting treatment of $22 million recovered from vitamin manufacturers who were found to have overcharged the company. The company is highly confident in its accounting and financial disclosure practices, and intends to cooperate fully and provide all information required to satisfy the request.
