Administration sets for use with the MedSystem III
® multi-channel infusion system are all latex free and feature an integrated anti-free flow mechanism to help prevent accidental free flow. Set configurations are available with SmartSite
® needle-free valve ports and standard injection ports.
The administration sets for use with the MedSystem III® infusion pumps include:
- A slide-clamp mechanism to prevent accidental free flow
- Latex-free materials; removing latex from your IV system reduces the likelihood of an adverse latex reaction for patients and caregivers
- Needle-free compliance; because the SmartSite® positive bolus valve is activated with a standard male luer, the use of needles is eliminated
